Sally is an experienced clinical pharmacist and health care researcher. Her research interests include improving health systems and healthcare delivery, pain management, interprofessional care, developing research capacity and culture, healthcare education and improving continuity of patient care and use of digital technologies to improve patient care outcomes.  She is working on the development of a digital platform (AutoMedic) for hospital pharmacists to improve information delivery and efficiency of patient care.  This project is a Medical Research Future Fund National Critical Research Infrastructure Grant funded project.

Other key projects include implementation of Collaborative Prescribing models in hospital settings, where pharmacists work with patients and doctors to develop and implement medication plans (CAReMed - MRFF grant funded project).
