Sandra has more than 30 years’ experience in leadership, training and teaching, mentoring, program design and direction, collaboration and communication in education, Local Government, the Not-For-Profit sector, and state government. Her roles have included teaching in school communities, Community Development in local councils, management of a state-wide social impact measurement framework, Chief Executive leadership of a unique social impact social enterprise, and manager of a new state government program connecting people to community and systems and measuring social impact.

This combination of professional experiences has allowed Sandra to develop a deep understanding of social impact in the community and government sectors in South Australia and beyond, transforming social impact theory into practice, and turning challenges into sustained social impact.

As the Senior Lecturer and Course Coordinator of the new Graduate Certificate in Social Impact at Flinders University, Sandra integrates her practical experience of creating innovative social impact solutions in real-world scenarios to enrich the immense research, policy, and practice expertise of the Centre for Social Impact Flinders team.

She believes that everyone can develop a social impact mindset to lead and influence transformational social change in any sector.
