Key responsibilities

I am the topic co-ordinator for SOCI1001, SOCI8040 and SOCI8041, tutor for SOCI1010, and moderator of the online forum for WMST2016 and ARTS2002. I am passionate about teaching critical theory and bring this passion to the many different subjects that I teach. Whether it is feminism, post structuralism, postcolonialism, decolonial theory, critical disability studies and/or theories of the Anthropocene, I bring a nuanced knowledge of theory to my pedagogy and also use it in my teaching practices such as formulating a syllabus and creating a respectful and inclusive classroom space. I love making these theories accessible to students, as simple as possible without being simplistic and sharing the joy of reading and thinking about these ways of interpreting the world we live in.
