Senior Lecturer (Advanced Manufacturing and Design)

College of Science and Engineering

place Tonsley
GPO Box 2100, ADELAIDE, SA, 5001

Tim is a Senior Lecturer in Advanced Manufacturing and Design at Flinders University in South Australia. While working in various positions in academia and industry across Europe, he gained over 10 years of manufacturing experience. Tim has a background in industrial engineering and obtained his PhD from Technische Universität Berlin. His research centres around designing and managing complex manufacturing systems, with a particular emphasis on current global trends such as sustainability or digitalization.

Tim is the Chief Investigator for establishing a Danish-Australian Partnership on Green Hydrogen Value Chains in cooperation with the University of Southern Denmark, the University of Adelaide, Energy Cluster Denmark, and SA-H2H Hydrogen Technology Cluster supported by the Innovation Fund Denmark’s program for Global Innovation Networks.

Tim is further involved in the design and implementation of a mobile Industry 4.0 learning factory at Flinders University's Tonsley campus.
