I completed a BSc degree with the Bird Lab at Flinders University in 2012, and a BSc Honours degree (1st Class) in 2014 focused on the giant extinct mihirung birds (Dromornithidae) from the late Miocene of central Australia. In 2020 I completed a PhD, supervised by A. Prof. Trevor H Worthy and Prof. Gavin J Prideaux, investigating the endocranial morphology of Galloanseres (landfowl and waterfowl), assessing how morphology of the brain corresponds with current phylogenetic hypotheses of several extinct Australasian fossil taxa within the clade. I am a member of the Flinders University Palaeontology group.
