I hold an MSc in Corporate Environmental Management and a BA in International Relations, combining strategic sustainability expertise with a global perspective on environmental and social challenges; with additional training in project management, public administration, systems thinking, and carbon management.
Flinders University has become the first organisation in the world to earn a coveted Gold rating under the newly released version 3 of the international Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System, or STARS.
As the Head of Sustainability, I drive the development and execution of strategies and workflows that deliver meaningful environmental and social impact. My tenure has been marked by developing and leading Flinders 2030 Sustainability Strategy, strengthening governance and engagement, and advancing key climate and decarbonisation initiatives. This includes accelerating renewable energy adoption, electrification, efficiency improvements, sustainable transport and fleet solutions, green building initiatives, recycled water systems, and scaling resource recovery. By ensuring our operations and reporting align with the highest industry standards, I work to enhance Flinders’ academic and research reputation and improve rankings with substantive outcomes and strengthen Flinders global recognition.
