We are seeking an outstanding candidate for a PhD scholarship to work on an ARC Discovery Project entitled: Understanding Ageism in Australia. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Professor Tim Windsor and Drs Stephanie Wong and Bethany Wilton-Harding as part of the Generations Research Initiative in the College of Education, Psychology and Social Work at Flinders University.
The broader project is concerned with establishing the prevalence and key correlates of ageism in Australia, by collecting data in partnership with the 45 and Up Study. The PhD component will provide the opportunity to work with data from both a large population-based dataset, and a daily-diary study designed to examine experiences of ageism in everyday life.

The project team will identify the successful candidate and release outcomes of the selection process by May 1. The successful candidate will ideally begin by June 2024, subject to negotiation.
