We are seeking an outstanding candidate for PhD scholarships for an ARC Discovery Project entitled: Understanding vicarious trauma in Australian foster care. This exciting project is a collaboration between researchers at Flinders University, The University of Adelaide, and the University of South Australia.
The project has one funded PhD scholarship. This will be based at Flinders University (Principal supervisor Dr Ben Lohmeyer). Associate supervision will be provided by Prof Damien Riggs.
To be eligible for the award of this scholarship a student must:
Prior to submitting an application for the scholarship, prospective applicants are advised to contact the Project lead, Professor Damien Riggs via email (damien.riggs@flinders.edu.au) to discuss your interest and eligibility in the opportunity. The Project lead may invite you to apply and request a copy of your CV together with a covering letter outlining your relevant qualifications, experience, research experience and reasons for applying for the scholarship.
Outcomes will be released by 14th July 2023.
The successful candidate will ideally begin as soon as the are awarded the scholarship and PhD position, subject to negotiation (and not later than September 29, 2023)
