Description

The purpose of this scholarship is to support provide financial assistance to students commencing the Bachelor of Paramedicine.

The initial source of funds for this scholarship is donations from two Flinders paramedic graduates, Stafford Wulff and Gabriel Hicks.

Benefits

Each scholarship will have a value of $500.

Two scholarships will be available per year for the duration of the funding.

Payment will be made in a single instalment after the census date of the first semester of study.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

be commencing the first year of the Bachelor of Paramedicine; and
be enrolled full-time at Flinders University; and
be in receipt of a means-tested Commonwealth Income Support payment or be able to demonstrate financial hardship.

Selection Criteria

Selection will be made on the basis of academic merit and financial need. Preference will be given to students who are not in receipt of any other scholarship.

Leave will not be permitted.
