There are a number of buses that come to Flinders University and Flinders Medical Centre.
Services from the southern suburbs and the Marion Access Service connect with the University's Loop Bus service at the Flinders Medical Centre. There are also connecting services from railway stations and Marion Shopping Centre.
Flinders University is now even easier to get to with the opening of the new Flinders Railway Line and Flinders Station, offering students and other commuters a faster, smoother journey from the CBD, in just 22 minutes. Catch the FLNDRS (Flinders to City) train and you'll have enough time to catch a few TikToks, catch up on some reading or just relax with your playlist. And with the free Campus Connector and Tonsley Link bus services running 7am – 6pm Monday to Friday, getting to and from your studies is simple. You’ll be able to schedule your day without worrying about missing a single lecture!
And it’s not just the CBD. You may be coming from Noarlunga for Nursing, Lonsdale for Languages, or Seaford for Social Work – wherever your origin, Flinders University is now quicker and easier to get to.

For regular travel on public transport use a Metrocard. You can recharge your Metrocard at the Campus Store and Post Office, and at the self-serve kiosk in the Central Library. Note, you can also purchase Metrocards at the Post Office.
For occasional trips you can buy a metroticket onboard trams and trains.
For occasional trips on buses you are able to use Tap and Pay or download the Buy & Go app and purchase a QR ticket.
Full-time enrolled students are entitled to concessions on public transport. You must carry your Student ID card with you at all times to use concession tickets.
