Kim is a former Managing Partner with PwC and also led their Governance and Risk Consulting practice in Adelaide for over 20 years.  He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors as well as a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Kim has a number of Board roles including Chair of the SA Museum, Chair of Alwyndor Aged Care and on the Advisory Board for the SARAH Group.  He is also the Chair of the Warriparinga Advisory Team that supports Southern Cultural Immersion (a Kaurna owned business managing the Living Kaurna Cultural Centre).

Kim led PwC's reconciliation initiatives for over 10 years and, in that time, PwC achieved an Elevate RAP program with Reconciliation Australia.  He was appointed by the Governor as an Ambassador for Aboriginal Employment and was recognised as a Distinguished Alumni by Flinders University for his contribution to business and reconciliation.

As the Continuous Naval Shipbuilding (CNS) Strategy Director at BAE Systems Maritime Australia, Sharon is responsible CNS Strategy and Plans for the Hunter Class Frigate Program. Her role includes responsibility for the Innovation program, the governance and measurement framework for CNS and AIC and the Exports and Future Business strategy and growth for BAE Systems Maritime Australia.

In the more than 30 years she has worked at BAE Systems, Sharon has held many positions including leadership roles in project management, procurement, estimating and as the General Manager of the BAE Systems Global Supply Chain program and Head of Industrial Strategy.

Sharon is a member of the Flinders University Advisory Council and Chair of the SA Government’s Defence Innovation Partnerships board.

Sharon understands the breadth and depth of Australian industry capability and the power of collaboration with Defence across academia, research, primes, and small and medium-sized enterprises. She brings an enthusiastic and holistic approach to Defence and industry collaborations that will support the needs of Defence now and into the future.

Sharon lives in the Adelaide Hills on a small acreage which includes a vineyard. 

Alicia Genet is the General Counsel at Fleet Space Technologies, Australia’s leading space company, based in South Australia.

As an experienced ESG and resources sector executive, Alicia has a background in corporate law and 20 years of experience working in private sector legal, strategic and external engagement roles.

Alicia’s experience provides a strong foundation for her insights into effective ESG frameworks including practical governance and risk management, climate change and sustainability. Alicia’s interests include climate transition action planning and the role of technology and connectivity in achieving global sustainability goals.

In her spare time Alicia is the Deputy Chair of the Committee for Adelaide and a member of the Audit and Risk Committee of the Leaders Institute of SA Inc. She is an accredited mediator, experienced mentor, mum, red wine devotee, amateur green-thumb and avid reader.

Ben Owen joined RAA in January 2023 as their Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) and General Manager Home & Energy. He is passionate about making a difference for RAA members by working closely with executives and their teams to drive RAA's strategy, innovation and next growth business of Home and Energy.

With nearly 20 years' experience in senior leadership roles across the financial services sector, Ben has a successful track record in formulating, developing, and executing enterprise-wide strategy, business planning, innovation, and transformation. He has led scale teams across some of Australia's largest banks and, prior to joining RAA, Ben was State General Manager, Consumer and Business Banking at BankSA and Westpac SA & NT. 

Brooke Hall-Carney is an experienced commercial litigator who has worked on some of the largest and most complex litigation and government inquiries in Australia. Brooke acts for clients in relation to start-up disputes, space, cyber risk and data breaches, advises boards and executives on their cyber risk and strategy, and conducts cyber scenario training. Brooke regularly presents locally and internationally on emerging technologies including cyber, directors’ duties, data, crypto and block chain.

Brooke is responsible for LK’s technology and litigation resources and her expertise in this area is recognised in the industry with legal software developers seeking her input on their designs and Courts soliciting her views in relation to practice notes and rules regarding disclosure and electronic trials. Brooke is a member of the AICD and a director on Boards.

Brooke was recipient of a Commonwealth Fellowship to teach and study Master of Laws, University British Columbia in commercial law and native title law and completed at Harvard, Cybersecurity: Managing Risk in the Information Age. She was shortlisted in the Euromoney Asia Women in Business Law Awards in Privacy & Data Protection 2018; Doyle’s Guide 2017 and 2022; and shortlisted Lawyers Weekly Tech Partner of the Year 2022.  

Jonathan Foo is Principal, Strategic Planning and Studies at BHP.

He is currently working in strategic projects for BHP's South Australian copper province, assessing investment opportunities to unlock value from the region.

He has previous experience in management consulting across a broad range of industries including government, education, resources, defence, infrastructure and health.

Shaun de Bruyn is the CEO of the Tourism Industry Council of South Australia (TiCSA) and a dedicated industry advocate, with over 20 years of experience in delivering strong outcomes across the leisure, tourism, and travel industries of South Australia.

Shaun’s background is wide and varied, having worked in areas of relationship management, business planning, destination and experience development, marketing and distribution, government engagement and strategic management. 

Bruce Speirs lives on the traditional Country of the Kaurna people of the Adelaide Plains. 

Bruce Speirs joined Bendigo & Adelaide Bank in 2004, holding a number of senior finance and business leadership roles across the Group. In 2015 Bruce was appointed to the Group Executive in the role of Executive Partner Connection, which was responsible for the Bank’s Third-Party Banking businesses and then in 2018 as Executive Business Banking. Bruce was appointed to his current role as Chief Operating Officer in 2022, with a focus on productivity improvements across the Group, further strengthening our processes and practices and reducing complexity in our operations. Bruce is also the Bank’s appointed Director on the Board of Tiimely Pty Ltd.

Prior to joining Bendigo and Adelaide Bank, Bruce worked for Ernst & Young in their Audit and Transaction Advisory practices for over 9 years working across Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States.

In addition to his professional roles at Bendigo & Adelaide Bank, Bruce is a previous Director and Chair of Windmill Theatre and FoodBank South Australia. 

Bruce holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Flinders University, a Masters of Business Administration from Macquarie University,  is a Fellow of the Chartered Accountants and Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Bruce has also completed a number of executive education courses, including with Harvard University and INSEAD.
