Karen is an Intellectual Historian who is interested in how we think we know and what informs our knowledge and understanding - especially the values we choose to live by. Specific interest in the ethics of war, and role of human differences (including race and religion) in the transaction of geopolitical affairs across human history.
Karen is the Deputy Chair, National Advisory Committee for Open Arms – Veterans & Families Counselling and Board Member, Australian War Memorial.
