Meet our Vice-Chancellor Scholarship Recipients.

I see my life as one big pursuit...the pursuit of excellence, the pursuit of happiness, the pursuit. The VC Scholarship takes a huge weight off my shoulders so that I can pour more into those around me.

I enjoy challenging the status quo and pushing through boundaries no one has dared to do and watching people break through the glass ceiling truly inspires me.

I am driven by justice, equity, and hope and seek out a professionally diverse career which is reflected in the variety of different roles I have undertaken. My degree is also very diverse. It teaches me how to think more than what to think and I truly enjoy that.

My favourite subject so far would have to be “The Social Determinants of Health”.

Why study in Australia? 

I was looking for somewhere to expand my experiences. I also wanted somewhere where the weather was close to home.

I love the tranquility, beaches and hikes in Adelaide, and the fact that if you want the city buzz, it's just a few minutes away. I recently got a bike and am looking forward to discovering nooks all over Adelaide!
