What motivates me in life is a relentless drive for self-improvement, a passion for technology, and a deep appreciation for creative expression through art, especially music and singing. These motivators are the driving force behind my pursuits and aspirations.

The Flinders VC Scholarship has played a pivotal role in helping me achieve my goals. It has provided the financial support needed to pursue my education and continue my journey of self-improvement. With this scholarship, I can fully immerse myself in my studies, focusing on expanding my knowledge in technology and computer science, while also exploring my creative interests in music.

My career aspirations are firmly rooted in my passion for technology and my desire to contribute positively to the field of information technology and computer science. In the long term, I aspire to become a proficient software developer, leveraging my technical skills to create innovative and impactful solutions to real-world problems

Why study in Australia? 

Choosing to study in Australia was a well-considered decision driven by several compelling factors. Firstly, Australia is renowned for its high-quality education system and world-class universities, offering a diverse range of programs. The country's commitment to academic excellence and innovation was a major draw for me.

Australia's multicultural environment fosters a rich and inclusive learning experience, providing the opportunity to interact with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures. This cultural immersion aligns with my desire to broaden my horizons and gain a global perspective.

Furthermore, Australia's stunning natural landscapes, vibrant cities, and overall quality of life also played a pivotal role in my decision. It offers a safe and welcoming environment, making it an ideal destination for international students.

What do you enjoy most about your degree? Do you have a favourite subject or project that you are currently working on? 

What I enjoy most about pursuing my Bachelor of IT degree at Flinders University is the incredible support I receive from my tutors and professors. Their expertise and guidance have been instrumental in my academic journey, providing me with valuable insights and fostering an environment where I can thrive.

Tell us something about your culture that you enjoy sharing with other students

One aspect of Vietnamese culture that I particularly enjoy sharing with other students is our rich culinary heritage, with a special focus on traditional Vietnamese dishes like "Pho."

Sharing the experience of enjoying a steaming bowl of Pho with others allows me to introduce them to the vibrant flavours, textures, and aromas that are characteristic of Vietnamese cooking. Exploring the nuances of ingredients, preparation methods, and the cultural significance of this dish can be a delightful way to connect with fellow students and showcase the rich tapestry of Vietnamese gastronomy. It's not just a meal; it's a window into the warmth and hospitality that is a hallmark of Vietnamese culture, and it's a pleasure to share it with others.
