Hi, my name is Tharindhi from Sri Lanka, and I’m studying Master of Teaching (Early Childhood).

I am inspired by honesty, integrity, and hard work. I strive to be a better version of myself each day.

My family and the goals I have set for myself and my future are the motivating factors that help me stay focused and do my best.

My career aspiration is to become a registered teacher and gain employment in a well-established school where I can apply the knowledge and skills I will have obtained by the end of my course, gain valuable experience and serve the children that are in my care to become the best versions of themselves.

Why study in Australia?

One of the main reasons I chose Australia is because Australian teacher qualifications are recognized globally, as programs of study are informed by the latest research and innovations. As an islander, I also considered Australia's fantastic weather around the year. Moreover, Australia is an ethnically and racially diverse country, and Australians are known to be friendly, warm, and welcoming.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why?

If I could choose a superpower it would be flight, because then I would be able to fly to all sorts of places near and far, lost and hidden, and also get a bird’s eye view of them all.
