The Vice-Chancellor's Awards for Research recognise, reward and encourage excellence in research as well as excellence in research impact and engagement across all Colleges.
Vice-Chancellor's Award for Early Career Researchers
The Vice-Chancellor's Award for Early Career Researchers recognises and values the outstanding contribution to the University of individual Early Career Researchers, embarking on their research career.
These awards recognise, reward and encourage excellence in research across all Colleges.
Up to five awards can be made each year. Each award is valued at $2,500 to fund opportunities to broaden the recipient's research networks and enhance their standing and recognition as a researcher at Flinders University.

The Vice-Chancellor's Award for Research Leadership recognises and values the outstanding contribution to the University of individual researchers who have demonstrated leadership in their research field and have made a major contribution in advancing knowledge and research outcomes.
These awards recognise, reward and encourage excellence in research leadership across all Colleges.
An emphasis will be placed on recognising diversity in these awards.
Up to three awards can be made each year. Each award is valued at $5,000 to fund opportunities to broaden the recipient's research networks and enhance their standing and recognition as a researcher at Flinders University.

For the purposes of this Award, engagement refers to interactions with external partners such as stakeholders and end-users that have made a direct contribution to the direction, growth, quality and impact of the research carried out by the researcher. The definition of impact is broad and includes demonstrable contributions the research has made to the economy, society, culture, national security, public policy or services, health, the environment, sustainability, or quality of life.
These awards recognise, reward and encourage excellence in research impact and engagement across all Colleges.
