Welcome! This project is interested in examining your views on murder sentencing within South Australian courts. Whilst research has been conducted in other Australian states and territories, we have yet to hear South Australian’s thoughts on murder sentencing.
We are asking you to complete a short 20-minute survey.
Your perspective will help us to understand what the public thinks about the criminal law and current sentencing arrangements for the crime of murder. This information can then be used to educate the South Australian community and important stakeholders in these sentencing practices, and potentially contribute to the reform of law in line with the public’s view.
After the survey, you will be invited to attend a focus group where you can discuss your thoughts in more depth – but this is completely optional.
In recognition of your time and participation, you will also be given the option to enter a prize draw for 1 of 13 $100 EFTPOS gift cards.
Get involved and complete the survey.
