I didn’t get my 1st preference offer, what should I do?

There is usually more than one way to enter a degree. Flinders has many pathway courses as well that can help you reach your ultimate goal. Chat with us so we can help work out what is best for you.

I received an offer, but have changed my mind and really want to get into a different course. What should I do?

Check that the course you now wish to study is still open. If so, you can change your preferences in your SATAC application to reflect your new preferred order. If the course is closed or has limited intake, contact us for tailored advice.

I didn’t receive an offer, what should I do?

This could be due to a number of reasons. Please contact us so we can check your application and provide tailored advice.

How do I defer my offer?

It is possible to defer your place in the majority of Flinders courses. There will be a link in your offer letter that you can follow to defer your offer.

What are my next steps?

If you have received an offer that you are happy with then we will contact you with your next steps including the enrolment process, class registration and attending orientation sessions. Follow the instructions in your offer letter carefully.

What if I don’t like the degree after I’ve started?

Sometimes the degree can be different to what you expected. It’s important to talk to College support staff to work out if it is just one particular topic that is causing you concern, or, if you would be better to change degrees. If you do decide that you want to change degrees, we can support you through the process at Flinders Connect.
