The Student Learning Support Service (SLSS) provides a variety of programs and resources to help you with your studies, including workshops, one-on-one consultations, and online resources. SLSS also provides access to Studiosity, a 24/7 online platform where you can connect with learning advisors.
The health service at Flinders provides a free, confidential and bulk-billed primary health care service to all currently enrolled students. Flinders University also offers a free and confidential counselling service to students who are experiencing personal or academic difficulties.
Our team of advisors are here to assist you to succeed, both academically and personally. We're committed to guiding you towards your own path to success and supporting you in overcoming any challenges you may encounter. No matter where you are in your studies, our Student Success and Wellbeing Advisors (SSWAs) can offer personalised support and information to assist you in navigating life at Flinders.
The Financial Aid Office provides information and advice on scholarships, grants, and other financial assistance options for students.
The Disability Services Unit provides support and services to students with a disability, including learning difficulties, mental health conditions, and physical disabilities.
Flinders Connect is a one-stop shop for all your student administration needs, including enrolment, fees, timetables, results, and graduation.
The Flinders University Student Association (FUSA) provides advocacy and support services to students, including academic advocacy, financial counselling, and representation on University committees.
The Careers and Employability Service supports students in building employability skills and transitioning to employment. They offer career planning, job application support, and opportunities for industry engagement. The Horizon Professional Development Award is a unique program that helps students enhance their professional skills through various activities and workshops.
For Postgraduate students there's also research support: We provide comprehensive support through the Office of Graduate Research. This includes training, development resources, research integrity, and ethics guidance. The university also assists with funding opportunities and connecting researchers with industry partners.
