Sofiann Saidi Youth Work and Social Services

A French Australian with Moroccan heritage, Sofiann has dedicated his professional life to social services, with over 15 years of commitment to fostering positive change in the lives of others.

Open minded, caring and enthusiastic, Sofiann is fully conversant with current thinking and practice. He applies a person centred and community approach to promote independence and well-being. Sofiann has extensive knowledge of social diversity and equal opportunity issues and demonstrates this throughout his practice.

With a foundation as a professional dancer, Sofiann is a creative thinker, a skill that he integrates into his work. This creative mindset not only adds a dynamic dimension to his approach but also enhances his capacity to navigate challenges with innovative solutions.

Fluent in three languages, Sofiann has the ability to connect, creating a genuine sense of unity in the diverse communities he engages with. His multicultural background and professionalism serve as a bridge, allowing him to traverse cultural nuance. Through his empathic approach, Sofiann creates a safe space for those he works with, fostering a sense of belonging and understanding.
