Ryan Judd graduated from Flinders University with a Bachelor of Environmental Science (Honours) in 2017. An Environmental Scientist with over 6 years of experience, including roles in public service and environmental consulting.

Ryan's passion is investigating and solving complex water management issues. He enjoys the diverse range of work that is involved and working within the community. Ryan aims to deliver a balanced approach to water management to protect the resource, dependent ecosystems, and local industries.

Jack has over a decade's experience working in a variety of corporate development and commercial management positions. Prior to joining LBT, he spent 8 years working for global testing, inspection and certification business, Intertek, where he was responsible for implementing corporate M&A from their global headquarters in the UK, before moving to Australia to support the growth of their industry services business.

At LBT, Jack works closely with LBT's scientific and research teams to identify new product development opportunities and partnerships to drive the commercial growth of the business.

With over eight years’ experience in the finance industry, Mimi possesses an in-depth knowledge of local consumer and SME markets. Matt Wood has a strong interest in Project Management and is currently the Manager for Safety, Quality and Risk, School Mental Health Service, Department for Education. Prior to this appointment Matt has held positions in the Office of the Chief Psychiatrist, new Royal Adelaide Hospital Project and Project Risk Manager for the new Women's and Children's Hospital.

Matt completed the Flinders University Master of Health Administration in 2020 and was awarded the Australasian College of Health Service Management, SA Branch, Health Management Prize best management thesis. Matt remains an active member of the College as a Fellow. He also has a Bachelor of Management & Masters of Management. 

James Packham directs a portfolio of businesses which specialize in sales and management for residential, commercial and retirement real estate. James is highly sought as a selling agent and auctioneer and holds respected industry awards from both Harcourts and the Real Estate Institute of South Australia. Harcourts Packham was recently awarded the Number 1 Franchise in Harcourts South Australia and in 2019, James was recognized as the Business Owner of the Year in Harcourts South Australia. He has completed degrees in Business and Economics from Flinders University and studied Operations Management at the Royal Military College (ADFA).

James is increasingly committed to his work in philanthropy and various projects within the community. In partnership with Toward Home Alliance, he has created Terra Firma, a state-first initiative providing a privately owned and operated homeless shelter. James is a Friend of Rotary, a supporter of the Harcourts Foundation which has gifted more than $4-million-dollars to charities in recent years, as well as contributing to several other community minded organisations.

Dayle graduated from Flinders University in 2018 with a combined Bachelor of Business, and Government and Public Management. Dayle now works in local government thanks to an innovative graduate program partnership between Flinders University and the City of Mitcham. Dayle has seen the important role Councils play in grassroots democracy, service delivery, and economic and community development. The opportunities at Council are endless and Dayle has worked across areas such as Customer Communications, Governance, Strategic Planning and Reporting and People and Culture. He is particularly driven by a strong sense of justice and fairness and giving back to the community.

In his current role, Jordon helps bring data to life by explaining the performance of city's economy to key decision makers, businesses and public sector officials.

Jordon works collaboratively to find insights that help inform evidence-based strategic decisions, solve complex operational challenges, evaluate programs, and provide leaders with confidence in their decision making.

He is passionate about seeing organisations and teams operate at their best by executing well developed strategy. His experience ranges across both the private and public sector, where he has managed projects and articulate well thought-out advice.

Sarah's life has been shaped by a diverse range of experiences, challenges, and achievements. As a former Chief Executive Officer, Commonwealth Games Gold Medallist and World Champion in netball. 

Sarah is well-regarded for her leadership and strategic skills. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the corporate and not-for-profit sectors. She has worked internationally and nationally, setting up successful programs for large organisations. She is also a qualified teacher.

Sarah has been instrumental in setting up one of the most recognised not-for-profit organisations for children and families in South Australia, Nature Play SA.

Not only has Sarah been successful in her working life, but she is also a Commonwealth Gold Medallist for netball, World champion and is an augural Adelaide Thunderbirds player where she was part of the 1998 & 1999 winning teams. Sarah is recognised as one of South Australia's most successful netballers.

Leveraging her insights from her background as an elite athlete and CEO, Sarah specialises in inspirational speaking, well-being, and leadership coaching. When public speaking, Sarah draws from her diverse life experiences, captivating audiences whilst teaching them about well-being, resilience, leadership, and performance.

Mr Taylor is an executive strategist, strategic planner, and communications professional with a multi-disciplinary background across scientific, not-for-profit, politics and education sectors. He is currently an Assistant Director in Public Affairs for the Australian Government, and meanwhile Co-Founder and Managing Director of Gläshaus, a business strategy consultancy, Co-Founder and Director of Everett Swim - sustainable swimwear for men, and a Director at Speak Entertainment which is advocating for the Formula E in Australia. Sam is also a strata corporation Board Chairperson, and a Board Director at the Estuary Care Foundation, the Marco Polo Project, and the Urban Future Exchange, and a Committee Member at the ACT Branch of the Australian Marine Sciences Association.

In former roles, Sam was a member of the Flinders University Council, Chairperson of the Board at Mount Carmel College in Rosewater, a Board Member of Language Connection Melbourne, and the youngest ever member of Surf Life Saving South Australia’s State Council. He was a former delegate to Japan as part of the Ship for World Youth, the founding President of the Playford Scholars Association, and a media advisor in the South Australian Parliament. In addition to his degrees from Flinders he has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Australian Institute of Business, and is currently studying a ‘11Master of Laws (LLM) at the Australian National University.

Nina Sivertsen is an Indigenous Sámi woman living and working on Kaurna Lands in Australia. She holds a position as Senior Lecturer (Nursing), Flinders University, and Associate Professor, Arctic University of Norway. Her academic work encompasses curriculum design and implementation, with cultural responsiveness in the centre to positively engage students in learning about First Nations health. 

In her research, she focuses on community and health systems research in partnership with First Peoples and contributes to restorative policy and practice, especially around women's health in a socio-political context of assimilation and colonisation. She works in inter-Indigenous settings together with First Nations health professionals from around the world to improve healthcare and health outcomes for all First Nations people. 

Nina's work in the nexus of Indigenous women's identities, culture, health, and education has led to international recognition as evidenced by her partnerships in Norway, Canada and Australia. She is the recipient of numerous awards; amongst them the 2022 Flinders Reconciliation Award, 2021 Women in Innovation Award, the 2020 Vice-Chancellor's Award for Innovation in Teaching, as well as being a finalist of the 2021 AFR National Teaching Excellence Awards.

Dr Sivertsen is an active member of many community organisations and academic committees providing space for Indigenous voices within strategic planning, governance, and curriculum. She works with research higher degree students to create new knowledge and build capacity enabling students to fulfil their potential as independent academics and researchers of the future.

Prabhat is a financial adviser in Perpetual’s South Australian office with more than seven years of experience in advising clients on how to grow their wealth and achieve their goals by providing holistic financial advice. Prabhat also specialises in working with Not-for-Profit organisations and Native Title Trusts by assisting them with building capacity around investment management and governance.

Prabhat graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Flinders University and is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®).

Emily is a HR Advisor for Westpac Group. In her current role, she provides HR guidance to leaders and employees across Australia. She has three years of experience coaching leaders through challenging people issues, preparing them with the skills to manage a hybrid workforce. Emily is an experienced career adviser, working previously as a Career Transition Consultant and runs career readiness workshops for a variety of Social Enterprises across Victoria. In 2022 she was appointed to lead the Westpac's Groups Employee Action Group 'The Youth Network', and currently leads the continuous improvement initiatives stream for HR services at Westpac. Emily completed a Double Bachelor of Business (Human Resource Management) and Bachelor of Health Sciences (Health Management) at Flinders University in 2019.

Jerusa has a bachelor degree of International Business at UP - Brazil, and completed a Masters of Business - International Business at Flinders University in 2019, in Australia. She worked with international business development at the International Business Centre for the Federation of Industries in Mato Grosso State; managed her own business for 5 years in Sao Paulo, when she moved with her family to Australia. Currently, she lives in Adelaide and works within Finance and Mortgage.

Anuja is a financial adviser currently working for a financial planning firm based on the Central Coast in NSW. She graduated with a Master of Business Administration (Advanced Finance) in 2014 from Flinders and subsequently joined the financial planning industry. Her journey in this industry started from an industry placement organized by Flinders in Feb 2014. Upon successful completion the industry placement, Anuja secured a client services role. Various positions over the last 7 years in the Financial Services Industry has assisted Anuja in acquiring relevant skills and knowledge to be a financial adviser. Her role is to help my clients to identify what an “ideal life” looks like for them and then to set plans to achieve their financial goals and objectives.

Andrew is the Director of Your Success Lab. With over 25 years experience consulting to the SME market, Andrew assist’s business owners to run better businesses so that they, their families, and the people they work with have can achieve their lifetime goals. 

SA Police - Head of Operational Services (IT)

Since graduating from the Bachelor of Information Technology in 2003,  Jenny Pilkington has worked in various IT roles in Adelaide in professional services, construction, agriculture, insurance and is now the Director of Operational Services (IT) for South Australia Police. Jenny's career has primarily focused on the operational support of corporate IT systems, leading transformational change to improve customer service, risk management, quality, and continuous improvement. Outside of work, Jenny enjoys camping and 4WDing, as well as baking and catching up with friends.

Lauren is a Chartered Accountant in Nexia Edwards Marshall’s Business Consulting and Taxation division. Lauren has been on several secondments, where she has partaken in several roles, which include, working in management accounting, compliance, business analytics, budgets, forecasts, and independent consultancy.

Lauren holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Advanced Leadership & Accounting/Finance) degree from Flinders University and is a Member of Chartered Accounting Australia and New Zealand.

Emily is a passionate problem solver with extensive business analysis and transformation experience, ranging from Submarines and Air Warfare Destroyers, to Environment and Health.  

Working in cross disciplinary teams, leading requirements workshops, communicating with people from a range of backgrounds including executives, scientific professionals, and trades, translating between IT speak and English is a key skill. 

Emily has been involved in all phases of software development from identifying improvement opportunities through implementation and acceptance testing.

Emily spent 2017 fulfilling a personal goal undertaking a 4,000 kilometre, solo, and unsupported cycling journey through Europe from Athens to Copenhagen, providing opportunities to exercise planning and problem-solving skills in new and exciting ways.

Mausam is a former business owner ( 7 day super deli and convenience store) , union delegate (NUW , production consultative committee (i.e Ingham enterprise),youth coordinator ,movie extra ( Hollywood movie ‘ mortal combat’ ‘Lin Kuei ’, current treasurer (I.e Northern knight volleyball club) ,CEO (Aussie Druk volleyball club), Trade show host (I.e AMS promotion), Brand Ambassador(I.e Jotraikos promotion) at Adelaide International Airport, Mr/Miss diamond Australia & international 2021 grand finalist representing Australia , Australia electoral commission seasonal employee and Royal Australia Airforce reservist .  

Disasters have befallen regional Australia with terrifying ferocity and frequency in recent years, placing great strain on national disaster relief resources, but Anastasia Bougesis is an organiser who has thrived on the challenge. As Chief Development Officer of Disaster Relief Australia, Anastasia has played a pivotal role in growing the support organisation that was run by only two volunteers in 2016, to now have more than 50 paid and part-time positions. 

Having graduated from Flinders University as a Paramedic and trained nurse, Anastasia has also been active on location for disaster relief work and continues to work part-time as a paramedic with the South Australian Ambulance Service.

In 2018, she led a team of Australian veterans on an international disaster relief mission to the British Virgin Islands following Hurricane Irma and was promoted to Mission Commander. Anastasia has been awarded three National Emergency Medals for her assistance in Tropical Cyclone Debbie, Black Summer bushfires and Far North Queensland floods, and she was recently deployed to Coraki in northern NSW for flood recovery efforts.

In 2022, Anastasia was awarded Flinders University Distinguished Alumni Award for her distinguished leadership in disaster relief, both as a volunteer and employee, bringing together a passion for emergency management, community service and women in leadership.

Simon has over 20 years of experience in the upstream sector of the oil and gas industry extending across corporate development (M&A), business development and strategic advice.

He has successfully delivered business outcomes in Eastern Australia, Bangladesh, Central Asia, Indonesia, and Vietnam. A strong collaborative approach along with experience in stakeholder engagement and leading multi-disciplinary teams has contributed to this success. 

Priya is the CEO of NIMIS Cybersecurity, a Techstars backed company. NIMIS Cybersecurity is the next generation of penetration testing. NIMIS is an artificial intelligence-based penetration testing platform, currently for web applications.

Priya's team has delivered security services to Australian and US intelligence agencies, National Australia Bank, Australia and New Zealand bank, British Aerospace Electronic (BAE) Systems and technology companies.

Prior to NIMIS, Priya was the CEO of Necessary Security & National Cybersecurity Institute a security consulting company focused on security architecture and evaluating emerging cybersecurity technology products. Priya also co-founded an analytics and video software company that came out of two years of technology R&D as part of a motorsport business.

Morgan Whiffen is an early careers professional with a particular interest in helping graduates and transitioning professionals to connect and succeed in the rapidly evolving Technology space. Currently the Early Careers Technology Recruitment Lead at Accenture Australia, her experience working in the university and private sectors has given her a unique understanding of the emerging challenges facing new professionals, and the importance of fostering exceptional candidate experiences for graduates to thrive.

Adam is a results-driven, senior commercial professional with over fourteen years' experience supporting Government, primarily Defence in the areas of service delivery, policy analysis, commercial strategy development, procurement, contract management and capability development across multiple domains (Infrastructure, Aerospace, Maritime and Joint).
