What you will study

This course covers AI-enabled data analytics, business intelligence tools, and strategic decision-making. You will learn to analyse and interpret complex datasets, identify trends, and communicate insights effectively. The curriculum also emphasises ethical and social considerations of AI in business contexts.

Core topics

This microcredential comprises two existing topics:

Data Analytics for Decision Making
Artificial Intelligence in Business Practice

Both of these topics are part of Flinders University’s MBA (Business Analytics) and the Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics.

Assessment

Quizzes, tests, engagement in discussion, laboratories, and coding exercises.

Credit

To qualify for the Professional Certificate in Data Analytics and business Intelligence microcredential, a student must complete 9 units with a grade of P or NGP or better in each topic, according to the program of study below.

Entry requirements

Applicants must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution. Admission may also be granted based on prior work experience. This will usually include 1 year of relevant work experience in a related field or 2 years of relevant work experience in a non-related field.
