This online self-paced non-award course provides nurses with knowledge and skills to manage medicines safely in remote settings and advanced practice. This training is crucial for nurses aiming to deliver comprehensive healthcare and manage complex patient needs autonomously and safely.
You will develop knowledge on essential aspects of pharmacology, therapeutics, and clinical decision making, including drug selection, dosing, administration, and monitoring, tailored to the unique challenges of remote and Indigenous health. The course comprises eight modules that are structured to build on participant knowledge and experience.
