This specialised course offers foundational physics knowledge and skills essential for thriving in physics-driven STEM fields, opening doors for Australians from diverse backgrounds to engage with AUKUS and the nuclear industry.
On completion, the participants will develop knowledge and skills including to:
This micro-credential lays the foundation for workforce upskilling in high-demand industries such as nuclear, defence and submarine construction. It will prepare graduates for further study in physics or related STEM fields. Importantly, it will train teachers to teach physics effectively and inspire the next generation of physicists and engineers.
This course is aimed at:
Fee waiver places (35) for registered teachers. Scholarships for interstate teachers toward travel/accommodation.

Anyone with a basic understanding of science with an interest in physics is eligible to undertake this microcredential.
A minimum Year 10 level science and maths knowledge is assumed.
