The Master of Accounting meets the admission requirements of the Certified Practising Accountants of Australia (CPA Australia), Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) and the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA).
This postgraduate accounting qualification will provide you with business and accounting knowledge, competencies, and skills to support ethical, global business management and leadership of organisations.
You will apply what you learn to a range of organisation types including private sector business organisations, not-for-profit organisations, and public organisations through experiential learning techniques students.
Through the course, you will conduct independent research, carry out industry and discipline related projects, and relate their learning to authentic accounting problems and issues encountered by organisations.
Philip has completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) with Honours and a PhD in Accounting. He is a member of CPA Australia and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
He is passionate about producing enterprising, work-ready accounting graduates, who have the necessary technical knowledge and personal attributes to make a successful contribution to the accounting profession.
Michelle holds an MBA and a PhD in Accounting and Finance from Oxford Brookes University, UK, with a particular expertise in financial technology (FinTech) and business model innovation.
She is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA). Michelle is an alumna of Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, with over 20 years of international experience across various aspects of financial services in Australia, Asia and Europe.
Dr. G M Wali Ullah is a finance academic with more than 8 years of experience in teaching, coordinating and developing courses taught in various mediums (face-to-face, online and hybrid) and programs (undergraduate, postgraduate coursework, postgraduate research and MBA) to domestic and international students, across a number of universities and tertiary education providers in Australia and Bangladesh. He holds a Ph.D. in Corporate Finance from the University of Adelaide, MSc in International Finance from the University of Westminster, UK, and a BBA in Finance from East West University, Bangladesh.
