The Master of Business (Finance) meets the educational requirements for membership of the industry professional body FINSIA (The Financial Services Institute of Australasia).
The Master of Business (Finance) consists of 16 topics.
The two-year program is designed for more recent graduates who have not yet fully embarked on a professional career. It provides the opportunity for commerce or business graduates to further develop their discipline knowledge or for non-business graduates to develop essential business skills and knowledge to broaden their employment-related choices.
The two-year duration of the program provides you further opportunities to undertake a range of elective topics.
This course may be completed in an accelerated mode if online or intensive topic modes are selected.
The Master of Business with specialisation comprises nine core topics, up to four specialisation topics and at least three elective topics.
You may have the opportunity to undertake an industry placement and/or project. Flinders Business has close ties with Flinders New Venture Institute. Studying with Flinders Business you will have the opportunity to engage with industry events and pursue entrepreneurial interests like Venture Dorm or work-based projects with fellow students to research a business issue and propose solutions. Through experiential learning techniques you will also develop knowledge and skills to conduct independent research, carry out industry and discipline related projects, and relate your learning to authentic business problems and issues.
Applicants for the graduate certificate must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution.
