Why study Clinical Epidemiology at Flinders?
You will achieve broader understanding of epidemiological concepts, application of methods in biostatistics, design of clinical trials, challenges and issues related to management of trials, and health economic modelling in different health settings.
The clinical trial topic has content to the standards of the Australian Clinical Trial Alliance (ACTA). Currently ACTA does not have any structured approach to seek accreditation of the clinical trials topics taught at the universities. Flinders is seeking the endorsement of topics by ACTA governing body.
This course will provide support for clinical and applied researchers in epidemiology and study design, design of clinical trials, biostatistics, health economics, rural health, indigenous health, research governance and ethics, how to critically think and develop studies.
