What you will study

Core topics in best practice in dementia care and leadership to support person-centred dementia care.
For the dementia care pathway, choice of option topics includes psychological dimensions of aging, policy in the lives of people with disability, leadership in health and aged care, leading organisations in health and aged care, the 3 D's: dementia, delirium and depression, and improving the wellbeing of people with dementia and their caregivers.
For the leadership pathway, choice of option topics includes introductions to social and clinical gerontology, psychological dimensions of ageing, leading through change, process redesign and lean thinking in health and aged care, leadership in health and aged care, leading organisations in health and aged care, financial management and economics in aged care, corporate communications in health and aged care, health and aged care systems and policy, and health and aged care operations management.
