The course will replicate how the production process works in an industry setting. The course delivery and structure prepare you for the workforce and enable significant networking opportunities which will further strengthen your employability in the industry both locally and internationally.
The graduate certificate provides training to work within a creative team and a production ‘pipeline’. Each team produces a short animated story to a creative brief. Mentoring sessions in small groups improve your technical skills and creative thinking.
In the graduate diploma, you will continue to work within a team and further develop and refine your technical skills and creative thinking. Teams work on a semester-long project developing a short film. Mentorship from industry professionals helps you develop your ideas, the visual look of the film, and your technical process.
The course is taught by currently practising industry professionals who have worked at major companies such as Wizards of the Coast, Blizzard Entertainment, Universal Pictures, Disney and Lego.
