Dancing at Flinders University has given me widespread knowledge of contemporary dance, the opportunities to train and create alongside industry professionals, lecturers and teachers from the profession that are passionately involved in our growth and development and most importantly, the constant opportunity to perform.”

Flinders’ Bachelor of Creative Arts degrees are specialised courses, focused predominantly on the major you choose (e.g. Costume Design, Screen or Drama). Which means, with a BCA, you’ll be on a direct path to a career in your chosen artistic profession. You will need to present a portfolio for entry to some Bachelor of Creative Arts degrees.
A Bachelor of Creative Industries is non-portfolio entry and is delivered in partnership with industry to give you a breadth of knowledge across your chosen major as a whole. You’ll get experience in the spotlight and behind the scenes, in the business of the industry and more. If you don’t know what specific career is right for you, but you would like to work within the creative industries, then the Bachelor of Creative Industries is for you.
