The Clinical Education postgraduate courses at Flinders support health and social care practitioners to advance their expertise in education.
The Graduate Certificate (4 topics) has an applied focus on improving delivery of health and clinical education in a range of settings
The Graduate Diploma (8 topics) has a focus on building knowledge and skills to evaluate and improve health and clinical education
The Master of Clinical Education (Coursework) (12 topics) builds on the first two awards, and supports health professionals to lead health and clinical education in a range of environments and systems
The Master of Clinical Education (Research) is a higher degree by research program aimed exclusively at health practitioners who want to contribute to this specialist body of knowledge by undertaking a significant piece of educational research.
Applicants must normally hold a bachelor degree or equivalent qualification and have at least six months full-time equivalent of work experience in a clinical or health related field such as; but not limited to; nursing, midwifery, medicine or health therapy.
Applicants must normally hold a bachelor degree or equivalent qualification or equivalent qualification and have at least one year full-time equivalent work experience in a clinical or health related field such as nursing, midwifery, medicine or health therapy; or hold a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Education.
Applicants must normally hold a bachelor degree or equivalent qualification and must have at least one and a half years of full-time equivalent work experience in a clinical or health related field such as; but not limited to; nursing, midwifery, medicine or health therapy; or hold the Graduate Diploma in Clinical Education or equivalent qualification.
